2016 Beaune 1er Cru "Les Cent Vignes"

2016 Beaune 1er Cru Cent Vignes  Wine Spectator Beaune 2016 Review

2015 Volnay

2015 Jessiaume Volnay The colour is a rich ruby showing purple on the rim. The nose is highly perfumed with some cherry overtones, fresh raspberry, spices and a little savoury earthiness. Most attractive. The palate is rich with upfront berry flavours, plenty of spice typical of Volnay wine. It shows a real purity of fruit. The flavours are persistent and the tannins are very fine and quite supple.

This is an excellent wine with a level of refinement and elegance generally associated with Premier Crus

2014 Auxey-Duresses 1er Cru "Les Ecussaux"

2014 JessiaumeThis wine is deeply coloured and vibrant - it looks superb in the glass. A most fragrant and alluring nose with ‘sweet’ ripe berry fruits, plum, a hint of liquorice plus plenty of earth/undergrowth and a suggestion of stalkiness make this a very classy bouquet. It has a silky palate with a ripe, ‘sweet’ fruit flavour that persist for ages.

This is a very fine example of both the terroir of this important appellation in Beaune together with the prowess of the maker.
