Vins d'Alsace Jean-Louis Schoepfer
The Schoepfer family has been making wines in Wettolsheim since 1656. It is located 5 km south east of Colmar and their vines include 10 hectars in the Grand Cru appellation "Hengst".
Gilles Schoepfer, the current winemaker, is able to bring together his family's traditional methods with his understanding of modern techniques. He uses both large foudres and stainless steel vats for the wine production.
We are introducing to Australia his:
- Riesling Grand Cru "Hengst"
- Pinot Gris
- Cremant d'Alsace
- Riesling Selection de Grains Nobles
